مقدمة عن اخضر هندي
تقع احتياطيات الرخام الأخضر في المنطقة المنجمية الغنية بجبل أرافالي وبالتحديد بمنطقتي أديبور ودونغانبور بالجنوب الشرقي لولاية راجاستان. وتنتشر احتياطياته على مساحة شاسعة في المنطقتين الكثيفتي السكان التي من أبرزها منطقة كيسرياجي الواقعة في أوديبور وفي المناطق المجاورة لدونكابور. وقد تم إكتشاف هذه المناجم في أواخر سبعينات القرن الماضي وأوائل الثمانينات، أما حجم احتياطاتها فهي ضخمة جدّاً والمنطقة التي تنتشر عليها تتكون أساساً من هضاب وجبال.وتوجد حاليّا العديد من المقالع الناشطة وقد جرت العادة أن تقوم الحكومة باسناد رخص استثمار تمتد صلاحيتها خلال عشرين سنة، وبعد مرور هذا الأجل عادة ما يتم تجديد هذه الرخص بصفة آلية، ونسجل حاليّا وجود ما يقارب 300 رخصة استثمار للرخام الأخضر بالمنطقة.

There are currently many active quarries. Traditionally, the government has granted investment licenses that are valid for twenty years. After this period, these licenses are usually renewed automatically. We currently register about 300 investment licenses for green marble in the region.
